Chapel Hill, Sigma Nu and AFROTC were among the best years of my early life. I married at age 32. We have three daughters – one born in Beruit and two in Rio – and they have given us nine wonderful grandkids.

After 21 years of banking I tried to retire but became bored and went back for three more years. Now I’m trying to see if I can keep from being bored again!

My wife, Ann, and I still live in Chapel Hill where I work half time as a pediatrician with the UNC School of Medicine. We have two children and five grandchildren and we enjoy visiting them in Asheville and Atlanta. We try to stay fit with regular exercise and are thankful that we can still get up and around every day. Seeing brothers of my vintage at the reunion organized by Dave Buxton ’62 last May was a lot of fun and brought back many fond memories.
