Get Back to Your Carolina Roots

You may be out of school, but there’s still plenty for you to do on campus or in conjunction with UNC—lots of activities that are perfect for a weekend with your family and/or Sigma Nu brothers.

Camp Blue Heaven
Friday, August 18 – Sunday, August 20

Each year, the General Alumni Association (GAA) hosts Camp Blue Heaven at the YMCA’s Camp Cheerio located between Elkin and Sparta in the North Carolina mountains. This year, this family fun weekend will be held August 18-20, 2017.

The event, which is open to anyone with a GAA membership, is a great opportunity to get together as a family and reconnect with some of your “Carolina family”—including your brothers. There’s nothing better than two of the most important “families” in your life getting to know each other!

Carolina Homecoming
Friday, October 27 – Sunday, October 29

We know you can’t wait to be back this fall for homecoming! Join your fellow Carolina alumni and brothers for some partying on Friday night, tailgating on Saturday, and cheer on the Tar Heels as they take on the Miami Hurricanes. Registration for Homecoming 2017 doesn’t open until August, but save the date and watch the Carolina homecoming page for more details.

Tar Heel Town
Home Football Games

Have some family—or brotherly—fun at Tar Heel Town before any of the home football games. It opens 2.5 hours prior to kickoff and closes 45 minutes prior.  Enjoy great food, children’s activities such as rock climbing, or climb the bell tower to enjoy those great views.

Plan It Right

Don’t forget to look up your brothers before you head out to any of these events. You can start an email chain after looking up the emails you need in our directory of alumni, or even start a conversation about getting together on our connect page! (Please note: You must be signed in to the website to use these resources).

Or, we can help spread the word through our email communications. Email our editor for help spreading the word about a reunion.
