Class of 1955

Chapel Hill, Sigma Nu and AFROTC were among the best years of my early life. I married at age 32. We have three daughters – one born in Beruit and two in Rio – and they have given us nine wonderful grandkids.

After 21 years of banking I tried to retire but became bored and went back for three more years. Now I’m trying to see if I can keep from being bored again!

Class of 1958

After graduation I moved to California where I taught high school English. Years later, in 1967, I traveled to Europe for a grand tour. There, I met the girl of my dreams and married her in 1968. Today we have four children, two boys and two girls, along with 12 grandchildren. I currently live in Minnesota, where we raised our four children. All but one of them chose universities in other states including North Dakota, Alabama and North Carolina. My daughter Susan has a PhD from Iowa State and teaches at Northern Iowa University.
