Mark your calendars for the First Annual Sigma Nu Barbecue Cookoff, which will take place during the afternoon of April 24th. The finest pit masters in the state will be coming to 109 Fraternity Court to serve up some seriously good Carolina barbecue in hopes of impressing our panel of celebrity judges. Tickets will be on sale for $5 in the weeks prior to the event and $8 at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Admission to the contest includes an endless plate of BBQ and southern sides, refreshments and live entertainment. In addition to our signature spring event, the brothers have become regular volunteers at Club Nova, a Durham organization which helps with renovations and other services in underprivileged neighborhoods.
